Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attends the Opening of the 47th ASEAN Summit

On the morning of October 26, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Malaysia, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste attended the opening ceremony of the 47th ASEAN Summit.

The opening ceremony was attended by nearly 30 leaders including Kings, Presidents, Prime Ministers , heads of ASEAN countries, countries and ASEAN partners.

The opening session also included the ASEAN Awards Ceremony to recognize outstanding contributions to the development of the ASEAN Community, as well as the signing of the Declaration on the Admission of Timor Leste as the 11th member of ASEAN, symbolizing the unity and expansion of the bloc.

After the ceremony, the leaders witnessed the handover of the Second Protocol amending the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement./.
