Early morning on October 26 (local time), the plane carrying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation arrived in Kuala Lumpur, starting a working trip to attend the 47th ASEAN Summit and related summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from October 25 to 28 at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
During his three-day stay in Kuala Lumpur, the Prime Minister is expected to attend and speak at meetings within the framework of the 47th ASEAN Summit; ASEAN Summits with partners from the United States, China, India, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the United Nations.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister had bilateral meetings with leaders of countries and international organizations attending the Conference and many other important activities.
By attending the ASEAN Summit and related Summits, Vietnam continues to affirm its active participation and responsible contribution to the common success of the Summits; maintaining solidarity and consensus within ASEAN; contributing to common work, especially maintaining a peaceful and stable environment in the region; diversifying relations and markets, enhancing ASEAN connectivity, and at the same time being ready to consider supporting and promoting the effective implementation of initiatives of countries and partners in accordance with the interests of Vietnam and ASEAN and peace, security and development in the region and the world./.
