On January 16th, the Tan Phu District Police ( Dong Nai Province ) are continuing their investigation into a filler injection complication that occurred at a spa in Phu Xuan Commune, Tan Phu District, Dong Nai Province.
According to information from the Tan Phu District Police, on the evening of January 8th, Ms. NHT (18 years old, residing in Phu Lam commune, Tan Phu district, Dong Nai province) went to Yuri Beauty Center Spa (Phu Xuan commune, Tan Phu district) to have filler injections in her lips, chin, and nose.
Here, Ms. NHT received filler injections in her chin, lips, and nose from an employee of NHHT (23 years old, residing in Tan Phu district). After the injections, Ms. NHT experienced headaches, dizziness, and vomiting.
At this time, the staff at the Social Welfare Center arbitrarily gave Ms. NHT medication to take. Around 10 PM that same day, Ms. NHT was taken by her family to Cho Ray Hospital for emergency treatment, where she was diagnosed with loss of vision in her left eye.
Following the incident, the Tan Phu District Police inspected and verified that Yuri Beauty Center Spa was licensed as a household business with the profession of hair cutting and shampooing. The owner of the household business is Nguyen Thi Huong (25 years old, residing in Lam Dong ).
The police also determined that the employee who injected the filler into Ms. NHT did not have a certificate or license to practice, and the type of solution injected was of unknown origin.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Tan Phu District Police.
