Notably, South Korea's star striker Son Heung Min started from the start amid reports that coach Juergen Klinsmann was likely to "keep" the star currently playing for Tottenham.

Besides Son Heung Min, Korean stars playing in Europe such as Kim Min Jae, Lee Kang In and Hwang Hee Chan are all in the starting lineup. This is considered the strongest lineup of Korea at the moment.

On the Vietnamese team side, coach Philippe Troussier cannot use the strongest lineup because some key players are injured or have penalty cards.

Specifically, striker Tien Linh was suspended after receiving a red card in the match against China, while midfielder Quang Hai suffered a calf injury and had to rest for a month.

In addition, central defender Que Ngoc Hai also had a problem with his calf so he could not play in the match against Korea. These are all familiar faces and have important roles in the Vietnamese team.

The friendly match between the Vietnamese team and the Korean team will take place at 6:00 p.m. on October 17 at the Suwon World Cup Stadium (Korea).
