Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong is a rather special case in Vietnamese football. The coach born in 1977 comes from a football family, with his father being the veteran coach Nguyen Thanh Vinh, who trained in the youth team and then played for the blue SLNA shirt.

During his coaching career, Mr. Cong has had special experiences that few others have when working at the top youth centers in Vietnam such as The Cong Viettel , SLNA, Da Nang, VSH (of the brothers Van Sy Hung - Van Sy Thuy, providing young players for Hanoi Club).
