Hopefully, Vietnamese fans will come to the stadium in large numbers to be able to "overwhelm" the Myanmar fans.
This afternoon's training session on December 11th for the Vietnamese women's national team was different from usual, starting about 3 hours earlier, at nearly 4 PM instead of 6:30 PM as usual. The reason is that after two matches played at 6:30 PM, the entire team needs to get used to the new match time slot for their simultaneous match against Myanmar tomorrow (the Philippines and Malaysia matches also start at 4 PM) to adjust their biological rhythm and the hot afternoon weather.

Coach Mai Duc Chung and his staff even arrived earlier and had the team take to the field at almost the exact time of the match's warm-up, 3:30 PM. This early training session allowed the coaching staff to clearly see each girl's adaptability and understand their individual playing styles. The training session primarily focused on practicing attacking crosses from the flanks and long-range shots on rebounds. Interspersed throughout were quick one-two passes and tactical moves aimed at putting pressure on Myanmar through the center.

Thai Thi Thao, the midfielder who scored a hat-trick against Malaysia, said: "The last match didn't go well, the whole team seriously considered it and held a meeting to analyze and learn from the experience. Now it's time to forget the sadness and focus on the important match tomorrow afternoon. We have faced the Myanmar women's team many times. They especially have Win Theingi Tun, 30 years old, a striker with skill, strength, and the ability to seize opportunities well. Myanmar's playing style is mainly defensive counter-attacking, and they rely heavily on Win Theingi Tun. Our task is to stop and neutralize this target striker. If we do our job well and utilize our familiar playing style, Vietnam will definitely win."

The whole team practiced situations where the ball bounced out so they could run forward and shoot.

Meanwhile, center-back Cù Thị Huỳnh Như also commented that the match against Myanmar will be one where the Vietnamese players must play with the best spirit and determination. Currently, the whole team is very confident and relaxed. If I get to play, I will try my best with the whole team to play well and give it my all to bring about the best possible result."

Thai Thi Thao and Cu Thi Huynh Nhu, on behalf of the team, also expressed their gratitude to the fans for their companionship, sharing, and unwavering support for the women's national team: "Wherever the women's national team plays, we always receive the affection and attention of the fans who are present to cheer us on enthusiastically in the stadium. We really hope that the fans will come to the stadium in large numbers tomorrow afternoon to ignite the team's spirit and encourage the whole team. Because the Myanmar fans will certainly be very numerous; we've seen them fill the stadium in the previous matches. So, if we are cheered on enthusiastically, we will play much better. We will definitely not let the fans down."
