This afternoon, September 12th, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province received 250 million VND in donations from organizations and businesses to support the people of the northern provinces in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, Dao Manh Hung, attended the event.

Accordingly, Quang Tri Petroleum Company donated 100 million VND; Quang Tri Clean Water Joint Stock Company donated 100 million VND; and the BIDV branch's grassroots trade union donated 50 million VND. These organizations and businesses hope that through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, they can promptly share some of the difficulties with families severely affected by Typhoon No. 3 and its aftermath.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Dao Manh Hung, acknowledged and highly appreciated the sentiments, concern, and responsible support of agencies, organizations, businesses, and individuals who responded to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province in supporting the people of the northern provinces in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
These noble gestures further enhance the beautiful tradition of "mutual support and compassion" of our nation. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province will transfer the unit's contributions to the affected provinces and cities in the spirit of "providing the highest, fastest, and most timely support," contributing to helping local authorities and people in the northern provinces overcome the consequences of natural disasters and gradually stabilize their lives.
