The body of NHĐ (born in 2008, residing in Xuan Tho commune) was found at 8:30 PM on October 24th.

Earlier, at around 5 PM on October 24th, NHT and NHĐ, along with three other friends (all residing in the same locality), went swimming at An Thanh beach, Xuan Dai ward. At that time, the sea was rough with big waves and strong winds, so NHT and NHĐ were swept away by the large waves and went missing.

Upon receiving the report, over 50 people from the border guard, police, and local militia, along with the support of local residents, deployed to search along the coastline and the area where boats were anchored. The area experienced high waves and strong winds, making rescue efforts difficult, but the authorities still deployed personnel to be on standby and diligently searched for the victims throughout the night.

Local leaders said that the sea in Xuan Dai ward and neighboring areas is still experiencing strong waves, high winds, and rising tides. Therefore, people are not allowed to swim; they also reminded their children not to go to the beach area to swim or play, to avoid unfortunate accidents.
