Lai Chau province will participate in the 25th Vietnam-China International Trade Fair 2025.

On November 20, 2025, the 25th Vietnam-China International Trade Fair officially opened at the Kim Thanh Exhibition Center in Lao Cai City, themed “Lao Cai and Yunnan – Connecting and Developing”. This event is part of the 2025 National Trade Promotion Program, jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province (Vietnam), and the China International Trade Promotion Committee (Yunnan branch). The fair features nearly 600 standard booths and approximately 4,000 square meters of exhibition space. Lai Chau province showcased nearly 50 distinctive products, including many OCOP products, high-quality agricultural products, and items with competitive advantages such as Tam Duong tea, Sokuva cordyceps, Binh Lu vermicelli, dried meat, sausages, honey, etc. Enterprises and cooperatives of the province actively introduced and promoted products and participated in trade connections within the framework of the Fair.

Besides the exhibition, the Lai Chau provincial delegation also participated in investment promotion forums such as: the Vietnam-Yunnan (China) border economic and trade cooperation talks; the conference introducing mechanisms, policies, and investment attraction areas; the conference introducing mechanisms for production, import, export, and logistics; and the Megalive program for introducing, promoting, and selling products directly at the fair…

The Vietnam-China International Trade Fair is held annually, alternating between Lao Cai province (Vietnam) and Yunnan province (China). Therefore, the event not only has commercial significance but also symbolizes the friendship, trust, and shared aspirations for development between the two countries.
