The 2025 Conference on Business Networking between Suppliers in the Northwest Region and Export Businesses and Trade Promotion Organizations will be held in Lai Chau Province.

On the afternoon of November 14, 2025, the Department of Finance and the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Trade Promotion Agency and the Departments of Industry and Trade of the Northwest provinces, organized a conference to connect suppliers in the Northwest region with export businesses and trade promotion organizations in 2025. This is a rotating activity under the National Trade Promotion Program, hosted by Lai Chau province. The conference was attended by 120 delegates from the Trade Promotion Agency, the Domestic Market Management Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade); representatives from the Departments of Industry and Trade and trade promotion organizations of Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Son La, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh provinces… along with many associations, businesses, and cooperatives in the province. In his opening remarks, Comrade Vuong The Man - Director of the Lai Chau Department of Industry and Trade - emphasized the importance of regional linkages, developing value chains from production to consumption, promoting deep processing, applying science and technology, building brands, and digital transformation to help Northwest agricultural products reach further into domestic and international markets.

According to the report on trade promotion activities in the first nine months of 2025, the provinces of Lai Chau, Dien Bien , Son La, and Lao Cai organized over 40 trade fairs, exhibitions, and business networking events. These events supported over 300 businesses and cooperatives in promoting their products and attracted hundreds of thousands of interested visitors. The Northwest provinces also aim to expand trade promotion to international markets such as China, Laos, the EU, and Russia; strengthen coordination and management; and sign numerous cooperation agreements.

Numerous presentations and discussions were held at the Conference, focusing on solutions to promote regional linkages, expand markets, and boost agricultural exports. The Conference witnessed the signing of memoranda of understanding to support agricultural product consumption between Saigon Co.op and Duong Yen Cooperative; and between IMEX NEWS Company and the Lai Chau Agricultural Products Association, opening up opportunities for stable consumption and building sustainable supply chains.

At the end of the program, delegates visited the exhibition area showcasing many distinctive products from various localities, further expanding opportunities for direct trade, connecting investment in production, and seeking distribution and export partners through various channels.
