Successfully organized the 5th Congress of T&T Group Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term

Attending and directing the Congress were Ms. Tran Thi Lan, Member of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Department - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City; Ms. Tran Kim Huyen, President of the Trade Union of Cua Nam Ward; Mr. Nguyen Tat Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group ; and Mr. Mai Xuan Son, General Director of T&T Group. Also present were incumbent delegates, leaders of various Departments/Divisions/Offices, and nearly 100 delegates representing nearly 600 trade union members and employees of T&T Group.

Reporting on the implementation results of the Resolution of the 4th Congress for the period 2023-2025 and the direction and objectives for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Ngo Minh Giang, Chairman of the T&T Group Trade Union, stated that during the 2023-2025 period, the Group's trade union work took place in the context of T&T Group continuing to expand its multi-sector operations, accelerating the transformation of its governance model, focusing on high-quality human resources, and developing corporate culture. This placed new demands on the grassroots trade unions: not only to represent and protect the legitimate rights of employees, but also to work alongside the Group's leadership in improving productivity, building a professional, stable, harmonious, and cohesive working environment.

During this period, the T&T Group's grassroots trade union successfully carried out its main organizational tasks, such as representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees; organizing and promoting the study of Party resolutions and State laws; launching patriotic emulation movements; building the trade union and Party organizations; advising the leadership, implementing directives, and coordinating the effective organization of social welfare activities...

Besides the achievements, the summary report on the activities of the T&T Group Trade Union for the period 2023-2025 also frankly pointed out shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome and drew lessons learned. Specifically, some work targets have not met expectations; the spread of some movements has not been uniform across different sectors. Connecting and gathering union members in the context of dispersed labor across many projects and fields still faces difficulties...

With the motto " Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development," the Congress set forth the direction and tasks for the Trade Union's work in the 5th term (2025-2030); aiming to build a modern, professional T&T Trade Union, accompanying the Group in its 2025-2030 development strategy; protecting the rights of workers; enhancing welfare; building a high-quality workforce; and promoting the role of the Trade Union in digital transformation and sustainable development. The Congress officially adopted the Resolution for the 5th term (2025-2030) with a very high rate of consensus.

In particular, the Congress unanimously elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 5th term (2025-2030) with 7 members; elected Mr. Ngo Minh Giang as the official delegate and Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Loan as the alternate delegate to attend the 18th Congress of the Hanoi City Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term. At the first meeting, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union unanimously elected Mr. Ngo Minh Giang as the Chairman of the Trade Union; and Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Loan as the Vice Chairman of the Trade Union for the 5th term (2025-2030).

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Tat Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group, acknowledged and highly appreciated the activities of the Trade Union during the 2023-2025 period, and fully agreed with the direction and tasks of the Trade Union's activities in the new term. Chairman Nguyen Tat Thang also offered some suggestions and proposals to make the T&T Group Trade Union's activities more effective, specifically:

Firstly, the Trade Union must further promote its initiative and creativity; consider people as the key factor determining all the Group's successes; and strengthen training programs to improve the quality and capabilities of the workforce.

Secondly, the Trade Union needs to be more proactive in proposing to the Group's leadership on policies, salaries, bonuses, and other welfare benefits to motivate and encourage the morale of its members and employees.

Thirdly, the Trade Union needs to focus on launching and developing specific, substantive, and widespread emulation movements; ensuring their widespread impact so that union members and workers participate proactively and actively; thereby strengthening cohesion and making workers increasingly love and be more attached to the Group.

Fourth, strengthen the solidarity of the Trade Union, considering solidarity as its core strength. The new Executive Committee of the Trade Union needs to further promote its pivotal role in closely linking the activities of the departmental trade unions within the Group's ecosystem, aiming to deeply and widely disseminate T&T Group's unique corporate culture.

In her address to the Congress, Ms. Tran Kim Huyen, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Cua Nam Ward, commended, acknowledged, and highly appreciated the achievements of the T&T Group's Trade Union in the past period; and also offered many suggestions and solutions to contribute to making the Group's Trade Union activities more effective in the next term.
