The program was organized by the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with Sovico Group, celebrating the milestone of elevating the relationship between the two countries to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership - the highest level of cooperation within the framework of Vietnam's foreign affairs.

The event took place right after General Secretary To Lam's State visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, marking a new step in bilateral cooperation in many fields: trade, investment, science and technology, defense, security, green growth, climate change response, culture and education .

Standing out on the Saigon River, Saigon Marina IFC - an iconic project recently inaugurated on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day - has modern, environmentally friendly architecture, directly connected to Metro Line 1. The tower is considered a new symbol of the international financial center of Ho Chi Minh City, demonstrating the desire for integration and global reach of the most dynamic city in Vietnam.

Brilliantly lit and symbolizing friendship, Saigon Marina IFC this week acts as a brilliant bridge connecting Vietnam and the UK, spreading the message of creative cooperation, knowledge and sustainable development between the two countries.

On that journey, education and culture continue to be the foundation for long-term ties. Academic and research cooperation programs - typically the Oxford Pioneer Scholarship Program at Oxford University, initiated and contributed by Vietnamese businessmen - are expanding learning opportunities for Vietnamese students, while promoting the exchange of knowledge and human values between the two countries.

On the evening of November 13, which also marks the 77th birthday of His Majesty King Charles III, the British Embassy in Vietnam will host a King’s Birthday Party in Hanoi to celebrate the strengthened relationship and shared commitment to peace , security and sustainable development.
During this meaningful week, Saigon Marina IFC became a meeting place of light of trust and friendship, where people and visitors deeply felt the connection, respect and aspiration to together create a better future between Vietnam and the UK.
