Total outstanding social policy credit reached over 675 billion VND

In the first 9 months of 2024, social policy credit activities in Nui Thanh district achieved good results. Total outstanding loans reached more than 675 billion VND, an increase of 37.9 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, a growth rate of 5.96%. There are 13,236 households with outstanding loans with 15 loan programs.

There are 6 policy credit programs with outstanding loans increasing compared to the beginning of the year, including: loans for near-poor households increased by 39.8 billion VND; job creation increased by 22.5 billion VND; students increased by more than 3.5 billion VND; clean water and rural environmental sanitation increased by 7.7 billion VND; policy subjects working abroad for a limited period increased by 431 million VND; people who have completed their prison sentences increased by 629 million VND.

The remaining credit programs all had a decrease in outstanding debt, in which production and business households in difficult areas borrowed 26.9 billion VND less; poor households and households that had just escaped poverty decreased 7.5 billion VND. The overdue debt ratio accounted for 0.062% of the total outstanding debt; capital mobilization reached a balance of more than 87.9 billion VND, an increase of 12.6 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year.

At the conference, 7 collectives with outstanding achievements in the peak period of mobilizing savings to join hands for the poor in 2024 were rewarded.
