The content is stated in the document of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction sent to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport and the Technical Infrastructure Management Center (under the City Department of Construction) regarding handling violations of double-decker buses.

Accordingly, the City Department of Construction assigned the Technical Infrastructure Management Center to request Anh Viet Company Limited - the operator of the DL01 double-decker bus route - to relocate, stop selling tickets and pick up and drop off passengers at the bus stop area in front of 92-96 Nguyen Hue.

At the same time, this center will direct the maintenance and protection unit of the Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue Street to coordinate with functional forces in patrolling, controlling, detecting and handling cases of double-decker buses violating regulations on stopping and parking in the park.

The document of the City Department of Construction clearly states that there are currently 4 bus shelters on the mixed lane within the area of ​​the Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue Street. In fact, there are no bus routes running on Nguyen Hue Street, so since they were put into operation, these bus shelters have not been in operation.

Therefore, the Department of Construction requested the City Department of Transport to direct its affiliated units to review and comment on the existence of the above 4 bus shelters.

In case the City Department of Transport affirms that the public passenger transport development orientation of the transport sector in the coming time does not use 4 bus shelters, the City Department of Construction requests the City Department of Transport to have opinions from the City Department of Construction to report and recommend the City People's Committee to approve the demolition, to avoid waste and increase living space for residents and tourists when coming to the park to have fun.

Meanwhile, speaking to Tuoi Tre Online about this issue, a representative of Anh Viet Company Limited said that the unit has been operating the pick-up and drop-off station of the double-decker bus route on Nguyen Hue Street for many years.

The company representative confirmed that the location of this station has been approved by the competent authority, so the company can pick up and drop off passengers here. At the same time, there is also a decision and policy from the city, so double-decker buses can pass through this route.

According to the company representative, the location for waiting and picking up passengers on Nguyen Hue Street is a beautiful location, convenient for people and tourists to visit the Ho Chi Minh City Monument Park, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee... During its operation, the company has regularly invested in maintaining and repairing the bus stop at this location.

Strictly handle the illegal pick-up and drop-off of passengers.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport sent a document to the City People's Committee regarding the expansion of the pilot service of transporting tourists by double-decker buses. According to the department, in recent times, the pilot unit has tended to pick up and drop off passengers without following the instructions of the City Department of Transport and the road traffic sign system in the pick-up and drop-off areas.

Therefore, the City Department of Transport will continue to request the City Police and districts to direct forces to regularly inspect and punish illegal parking, especially in areas in front of the City Post Office , City Theater, Independence Palace, and on streets such as Dong Khoi, Nguyen Hue, and Le Duan.
