Agencies, units, and localities closely coordinate to help the Steering Committee for the exercise direct and operate well all aspects from the work of dissemination and implementation; training and fostering of cadres; building a system of exercise documents; preparing exercise areas; security work; mobilizing components and forces participating in the exercise to focus on research, grasp the content, demonstrate well the methods of each role, close to the actual combat situation with each condition and situation, and ensure safety. In addition, Party committees and authorities at all levels pay attention to leading and directing appropriate investment in the task of practicing the city's defense area (KVPT) and combat exercises in KVPT, and leading defense at ward and commune levels; leaders at all levels and sectors proactively promote their roles and responsibilities in advising, directing, and closely coordinating in the preparation and practice of the exercise. Departments, branches, organizations and armed forces promote their roles and responsibilities, overcome difficulties and coordinate to complete assigned tasks.

The Standing Committee of the City Military Command has closely coordinated with the city's agencies, departments, branches and organizations to advise the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to issue documents to direct the Long Xuyen City Military Training Exercise closely, ensuring compliance with the exercise intentions of the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee. At the same time, the City Exercise Steering Committee regularly inspects and directs agencies, units and localities in the work of building a system of leadership and direction documents, documents of trainees and ensuring all aspects of document building and practicing exercises on time, according to exercise regulations, close to the reality of each content, task and exercise topic.

To continue to achieve better results in the 2025 - 2030 term, according to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Minh Chau, Commander of the Long Xuyen City Military Command, the city will continue to thoroughly grasp the viewpoints, guidelines, and defense strategies of the Party and State and documents such as: National Defense Law, directives, resolutions, and conclusions of the Central Committee; directives, decrees, and plans of the Government; circulars and instructions of the Ministry of National Defense on KVPT and civil defense; research, apply, and innovate the content of exercises to suit the new situation. Regularly forecast, grasp the situation, advise, and propose accurate and timely handling; Improve the quality of combat readiness, training, drills, education, fostering knowledge of national defense - security, prevention and control of natural disasters, epidemics... successfully complete the tasks of KVPT drills, combat in KVPT and civil defense at 2 levels with many new scales, contents, and forms, close to the situation and reality of the locality. Armed forces at all levels play a good role in advising Party committees and authorities; preside over coordination, guidance to help departments, branches, organizations, and localities prepare and practice defense zone drills for the next term to achieve good results.
