This is the first time Ho Chi Minh City has organized the Children's Festival, hoping to bring a joyful, enriching, healthy, and meaningful start to the summer for children in 22 districts and Thu Duc City.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and President of the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Council, Trinh Thi Hien Tran, stated that due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, summer recreational activities for children have not been fully organized in recent years.

Therefore, the 2023 Children's Festival aims to create a beneficial playground, providing opportunities for children to learn about science and technology, enjoy art and cuisine, and engage in cultural exchange. Through this, we hope to convey to them a message about love, solidarity, sharing, and the positive values in life.
