Ho Chi Minh City starts and inaugurates many projects and works to welcome the 14th National Party Congress

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued Document No. 923/TTr-UBND to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the list of groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of large-scale and meaningful projects and works to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

On the afternoon of December 2, the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee announced that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued Document No. 923/TTr-UBND to the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee on the list of groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of large-scale and meaningful projects and works to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

According to the report, the list of projects and works (Group A) that will start construction includes: Construction of the Youth Cultural House (No. 4 Pham Ngoc Thach, Saigon Ward). The project has a land area of ​​over ^14,300m2 , 21 floors high and 4 basements; total investment capital of 2,240 billion VND.

The project to upgrade and expand Hoi Bai - Phuoc Tan road (DT992) from National Highway 51 to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, with a total investment of 3,690 billion VND. Construction is expected to start on December 19.

Component projects 1 and 2 build Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 2, the section from Phu Huu Bridge to Vo Nguyen Giap Street and from Vo Nguyen Giap Street to Pham Van Dong Street, with a length of more than 6km, with a total investment of more than VND5,200 billion. Construction is expected to start on December 19.

Component 2 of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway Construction Project Phase 1 (residential access road through Ho Chi Minh City is about 19.6km long, through Tay Ninh is about 23.4km long; 7 overpasses in Ho Chi Minh City; 9 bridges in Tay Ninh province; 10 underpasses). The project has a total investment of 2,422 billion VND.

Technical traffic opening of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 (30.5km section in Long Truong, Long Phuoc, Long Binh wards).

Construction of Nguyen Khoi bridge and road through Vinh Hoi ward and Tan Thuan ward. The project includes the following items: Construction of an overpass system connecting Tan Thuan ward to Vinh Hoi ward, crossing Te canal, Ben Nghe canal with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete; construction of bridgehead road; construction of Nguyen Khoi service road; construction of service roads on both sides of Hoang Trong Mau street... Total investment capital of the project is more than 3,700 billion VND.

Metro Line 2 Project (Ben Thanh - Tham Luong) with a total length of 11.68km (underground section 9.33km long; transition section 0.28km long; elevated section about 1.61km long and ground section to depot is 0.46km). Along the route, there are 10 underground stations and 1 elevated station. Total investment capital is more than 47,890 billion VND. Expected to start construction in January 2026.

Group B will start construction of many projects in the medical field, including the 115 Emergency Center, Facility 2 in Binh Chanh Commune, with an area of ​​over ^1,900m2 (total floor area of ​​over ^12,800m2 : 9 floors above ground + 1 basement), with a total investment of over 299 billion VND. Construction of the Ho Chi Minh City Testing and Calibration Center in Binh Chanh Commune with a total investment of 450 billion VND.

Upgrading, renovating, constructing new, and investing in equipment for Tran Van Giau High School, Binh Loi Trung Ward, with a total investment of more than 78 billion VND.

Construction and upgrading of facilities according to the professional development orientation of Nhan Ai Hospital (phase 2, in Dong Nai province). Total investment of more than 349 billion VND.

Project to purchase medical equipment for foreign block of Nguyen Trai Hospital with total investment capital of more than 160 billion VND.

Project to build a new Tropical Disease Center (Block 4B) of Children's Hospital 1 with a total investment of more than 349 billion VND.

Group C includes: Thanh Loc Park construction project, An Phu Dong ward, over 62 billion VND; Ngang Canal bridge construction project No. 1 (on Hoai Thanh street, Binh Dong ward and Phu Dinh ward) over 85.9 billion VND.
