According to Tran Thanh, from a business perspective – as an investor – he saw the potential and probability of success in "Falling in Love with My Best Friend" (directed by Diep The Vinh and Nguyen Quang Dung), which is why he decided to invest. The decision for " Falling in Love with My Best Friend" to be released during the 2025 Lunar New Year was made by the distributor; he did not interfere. The simultaneous release of "The Four Revengeful" and " Falling in Love with My Best Friend " was a coincidence, not a personal decision. "When I invested, I didn't know when the film would be released. Later, because the distributor assessed that the film's style appealed to the general audience, they decided to release it during the Lunar New Year. I am only a minor shareholder in the project and do not have the right to decide the release time," Tran Thanh explained.

Tran Thanh emphasized that film competition during the Lunar New Year season is normal in the entertainment industry. "The Lunar New Year film market belongs to everyone. The box office is like a marketplace; producers display their goods for sale, and each film is a product. If a film is good and high-quality, the audience will embrace it. Thu Trang also releases a film, and she will have her own market share. Just because a film is released at the same time doesn't mean they're rivals trying to destroy each other. With a developing and promising film market like Vietnam's, I hope many good films will be released simultaneously to attract viewers to the theaters," he said.

In fact, the simultaneous release of two films produced by Tran Thanh during the Lunar New Year period could bring many benefits to the Vietnamese film market. The Lunar New Year season is always the biggest market for the film industry each year, when audiences have free time and the trend of seeking entertainment at theaters increases. Two films with meticulous investment in quality will not only meet the entertainment needs of the audience but also increase competition in the Vietnamese film market. The diversity in the "menu" of choices will attract more viewers to theaters, thereby increasing motivation for other filmmakers in the future.

Director Nguyen Quang Dung also stated: "Instead of viewing films released at the same time as rivals, producers should look for ways to connect and foster overall growth for the film industry. We shouldn't see each other as competitors; each good film will provide audiences with a better experience, and that benefits the entire industry."

Actress and producer Thu Trang affirmed: "I believe the film market is vast; the more options available, the easier it is for audiences to choose. The issue isn't about who wins, but about how to ensure the Vietnamese film industry continues its growth and develops further." She also said she wasn't worried about having her film released during the Lunar New Year season alongside Tran Thanh's work, because she was confident her film had a distinct style.

It can be said that with the "debut" of prominent names, the 2025 Tet movie race has become more exciting than ever because theaters usually focus on showing many screenings for only 1-2 popular movies.
