Da Nang spends 10 billion VND to fix landslides on the road under La Son - Tuy Loan highway

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just decided to allocate about 10 billion VND to deploy emergency projects to overcome subsidence, landslides, and damage on Highway 601 after the impact of floods at the end of October.

DT 601 route is an important traffic axis connecting the city center with the residential area in the northwest of the city.

The subsidence and damage to the DT 601 road occurred at Km8+360 – Km8+520 (in Hai Van ward). This road section is located at the foot of the La Son - Tuy Loan highway, an area heavily affected by storm No. 12 and the heavy rains that have lasted for a long time.

According to the decision, the People's Committee of Da Nang City allocates about 10 billion VND to overcome subsidence and landslides. The city assigned the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works in Da Nang to manage and organize the implementation.

In which, the construction unit uses SW prestressed reinforced concrete sheet piles, estimated pile length L=10m÷12m, driven along the negative slope of the landslide area, ensuring deep penetration into good, stable geological layers, combined with underground and surface water drainage solutions.

Design of reinforced concrete locking beams connecting sheet piles. Restore the slope, reinforce with cement concrete panels combined with reinforced concrete frame and tray legs; arrange soft guardrails to replace the damaged existing wheel guardrails.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City also requested the management board to select contractors for survey, design, supervision, and construction; prepare and complete the remedial plan documents; organize construction, acceptance, and other works to serve the construction of emergency works in accordance with regulations.

In addition, the management board is also responsible for organizing the management of construction quality according to regulations; presiding over and coordinating with the consulting unit to complete the dossier and submitting it to the competent authority for appraisal and approval of the completed construction dossier.
