Vietnam FC Online team determined to win gold medal at SEA Games 33

After finalizing the lineup for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese FC Online team set a goal of changing the color of the medal compared to the most recent regional sports festival, from silver to gold.

On December 4, after the selection round, the FC Online Vietnam team finalized the squad for the 33rd SEA Games, including 4 athletes: Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Le Anh Tuan, Phan Tan Sang and Nguyen Quy Duy.

They are members of the SevenTV team, who have won excellently, surpassing many athletes to represent Vietnam to compete in FC Online at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.

This is a team of personnel who have been together and played well together for a long time. The combination of experience and youth of the athletes is expected to help the FC Online Vietnam team bring an explosive performance at the 33rd SEA Games.

This year, the organizing committee of the host country Thailand brought FC Online back to the SEA Games after an absence in Cambodia. With great confidence and determination, the Vietnamese FC Online team decided to change the color of the medal in Thailand, bringing home the gold medal to make the country's sports famous.

The last time FC Online was included in the medal competition was at the 31st SEA Games at home in 2022, the Vietnamese FC Online team regretfully lost to Thailand in the final match and sadly won the silver medal.

FC Online team is one of the small teams of the Vietnam e-sports team, managed by the Vietnam E-sports Association.

At the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese e-sports team, consisting of 7 coaches and 31 athletes, will compete in 4 sports (including FC Online) and 1 performance sport (Audition). The team will compete using socialized budget sources.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , General Secretary of the Vietnam E-Sports Entertainment Association - Ms. Cao Thi Thu Phuong said that the goal of the Vietnamese e-sports team is to strive to win 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals at the 33rd SEA Games. The team will leave for Thailand to compete on December 10 and 11.

This year’s SEA Games e-sports will take place from December 12 to 19 in Bangkok. FC Online will compete on December 13 and 14.
