These include 390 scholarships for academic achievement, 166 scholarships for talent, 107 scholarships for outstanding students at the provincial level, and 1 scholarship for the student who achieved the highest score in the high school graduation exam (56.1 points).

In addition, two student groups won prizes in the national science and technology innovation competition for the 2023-2024 school year. Notably, for the first time, 14 "Learning Never Ends" scholarships were awarded to adults with exemplary learning spirit within their families and clans in Soc Trang province.

Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council of Soc Trang, stated that each scholarship recipient is consciously following the shining example of learning set by the great President Ho Chi Minh , striving for self-study, and demonstrating the willpower to rise above poverty through education in order to acquire the knowledge to work, escape poverty, and make positive contributions to the community and society.

The comrade suggested that units and localities expand the awarding of the "Learning Never Ends" scholarship to students, civil servants, and members of the armed forces to create a strong learning emulation movement. This would effectively implement the "Nationwide Emulation Movement to Build a Learning Society and Promote Lifelong Learning in the 2023-2030 Period" launched by the Prime Minister .

The Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Commendation to the scholarship sponsors.

In the first six months of 2024, Soc Trang province raised over 32 billion VND for scholarships and awarded 22,327 scholarships of various types to outstanding students who overcame difficulties and achieved high results in provincial, national, and international examinations.

At the same time, efforts were made to build 26 houses for underprivileged students to support their studies, ensuring they could focus on their education, with a total cost of over 1 billion VND.

In addition to the direct support of the Soc Trang Lottery Company, which contributed 5 billion VND, and the An Giang Lottery Company, which provided 100 million VND in matching funds, there was also active support from the Ho Chi Minh City Audio-Visual Education Joint Stock Company, the family of revolutionary Duong Ky Hiep, Eastwood Energy Company, Mai Mong Company, Minh Khai Company, and others.
