In the past 5 days, two newborn babies, a boy and a girl, were found abandoned in two communes in Cu Chi district (HCMC). Authorities are looking for relatives of these two newborn babies.
On March 25, the People's Committee of Tan An Hoi commune (Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City) is looking for relatives of abandoned children in the area.
The abandoned child is a newborn boy, discovered on March 24 at an address on Tran Thi Bau Street (Hau Hamlet, Tan An Hoi Commune, Cu Chi District).
The newborn boy is about two days old, weighs about 2.3 kg, and is in stable health.
The baby was found with the umbilical cord still attached, lying on a bench, wrapped only in a towel.
Tan An Hoi Commune People's Committee announced to find relatives for the child and posted a public notice at the headquarters of Tan An Hoi Commune People's Committee within 7 working days (from March 24 to April 1).
During the posting period, any relatives of the child are requested to contact the People's Committee of Tan An Hoi Commune. At the end of the posting period, if no relatives contact to claim the child, the People's Committee of Tan An Hoi Commune will carry out the procedures related to abandoned children according to regulations.
Previously, on March 21, the People's Committee of Trung Lap Ha commune (Cu Chi district) announced a search for relatives for the newborn girl, discovered on March 20 at an address on Nguyen Thi Gat street (Trang Lam hamlet, Trung Lap Ha commune).
The newborn girl, about one day old, weighing about 2.7 kg, was discovered with her umbilical cord still attached, lying in a black plastic bag, bitten by insects. The People's Committee of Trung Lap Ha commune and local people took the baby to Cu Chi Regional General Hospital for health care.
The People's Committee of Trung Lap Ha commune announced to find relatives for the child and posted the notice at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Trung Lap Ha commune for 7 working days (from March 21 to 31).
During the posting period, Trung Lap Ha Commune People's Committee requests that anyone who is a relative of the child contact the Commune People's Committee to complete the procedures to receive the child, or anyone who knows information about the child should notify the Commune People's Committee.
At the end of the listing period, if no relatives contact to claim the child, the child will be considered unclaimed. The People's Committee of Trung Lap Ha commune will carry out procedures for abandoned children according to the provisions of law.
