Among the 21 names of the U17 Indonesia selected, there are four players who are playing abroad: Goalkeeper Mike Rajasa, defenders Lucas Lee and Mathew Baker, along with midfielder Eizar Tanjung.
"This squad is a combination of excellent young domestic players and some players playing abroad," PSSI said.
This is the second consecutive time that the Indonesian U17 team has participated in the U17 World Cup. In the previous edition, Indonesia participated as the host country.
At the 2025 U17 World Cup, Indonesia is in Group H with opponents Brazil, Honduras and Zambia.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from November 3 to 27. Coach Nova Arianto's team will begin their journey with a match against Zambia (November 4), Brazil (November 7) and end the group stage with a match against Honduras (November 10).
