Central Youth Union receives and sponsors 5 children orphaned by storm No. 3

The Central Youth Union representative received the contribution to sponsor 5 children orphaned by storm No. 3 until they are 18 years old from the business representative.

Accordingly, on September 16, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union received 300 million VND in cash and 40 water purifiers worth more than 500 million VND from many businesses, such as Daikiosan, Makano (Dai Viet Group),... to support the people in the North affected by the recent storm and flood. In addition, the unit has sponsored the education of 5 children who lost their parents due to storm No. 3 until they are 18 years old.

According to the Central Youth Union Office, these are timely and practical contributions, demonstrating the social responsibility and companionship of the business community in joining hands with the whole country to support the people of the North to overcome this difficult period.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 15, the Central Working Group of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union led by Mr. Ngo Van Cuong - Secretary of the Central Youth Union visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support the area severely damaged by floods after storm No. 3 in Lao Cai province.

Here, the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support people and children in flood-affected areas in Lao Cai, especially Lang Nu village (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district) - where a tragic flash flood just occurred, causing many casualties.
