Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia offers incense at the Memorial House of General Vo Nguyen Giap.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee, and the working delegation observed a moment of silence to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap.

In a solemn atmosphere, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee , and provincial leaders offered incense, respectfully expressing their gratitude and remembrance of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the legendary general of the nation, the excellent and outstanding student of President Ho Chi Minh , the eldest brother of the Vietnam People's Army who, together with our army and people, created the Dien Bien Phu Victory "famous in five continents, shaking the earth".

The delegation learned about information at the exhibition of documentary images about historical events related to the resistance war against French colonialism, especially the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Before the spirit of General Vo Nguyen Giap, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia and the provincial leaders vowed to continue promoting the heroic Dien Bien Phu tradition, making efforts with the entire Party, army and people to successfully carry out the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, building an increasingly prosperous Vietnam.

After offering incense to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia and provincial leaders visited the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command Headquarters relic site located in the old forest at the foot of Pu Don mountain; visited the relic site of the military branches declaring the Dien Bien Phu Victory, in Muong Phang commune and the Dien Bien Phu artillery pulling monument cluster in Na Nhan commune, Dien Bien Phu city.

This morning, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, and provincial leaders visited, presented gifts, and encouraged the 45th Artillery Brigade, Artillery Corps; inspected the Provincial Guest House project, a place to welcome Party and State leaders, international guests and delegates attending the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.
