Familiar melodies from Endless Fields and The Legend of Quan Tien echoed, evoking unforgettable impressions of the country's art.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan - President of the Vietnam Cinema Promotion Association - expressed: “We are pleased to announce that Vietnamese cinema is experiencing remarkable development. In 2023, the market has recovered to the pre-Covid period. The market share of Vietnamese films in 2024 reached nearly 50% compared to 30% in the pre-Covid-19 period. In 2025, the market share of Vietnamese films is expected to increase to 65-70%. Many independent films and art films have achieved success at international film festivals. A new generation of filmmakers is excited and full of courage on the path of creativity.”
The highlight of the opening night was the premiere of the film Death Battle in the Air . This was the film chosen to open the show, representing the genre of action movies with elaborate investment, inspired by the 1978 hijacking incident. Before the show, the audience also had the opportunity to visit the panoramic photo exhibition of Vietnamese cinema, solemnly displayed in the cinema lobby, providing a multi-dimensional view of the history and development of the seventh art in Vietnam.

Representatives of Vietnamese film crews appeared on the red carpet of the event.
