From October 18, the Traffic Police force of Lam Dong Public Security simultaneously launched a peak period of inspection and handling of drivers violating alcohol, drug and stimulant concentrations across the province. On the evening of October 20, the Special Task Force to inspect "Drivers of road vehicles with drugs in their bodies, violating alcohol concentrations", under the Propaganda, Investigation and Handling of Accidents and Violations Team, Traffic Police Department, Provincial Public Security coordinated with Lam Vien Ward Police - Da Lat to conduct inspections in the ward.

According to the reporter of Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television, the inspection work was deployed quickly, methodically, and in accordance with the regulations of the industry. All vehicles when stopped for inspection were recorded in a book. This is to limit errors as well as assess the level of compliance of people in implementing the provisions of the law when participating in traffic. The process of measuring alcohol concentration as well as making records of violations were all recorded and supervised by officers performing the task of inspecting the People's Public Security regulations.

In particular, after a period of time of alcohol and drug testing, some passersby discovered the inspection team and informed each other, trying to "avoid" the location where the working group was working. Therefore, the working group organized a mobile patrol force and discovered a number of cases of violators deliberately going onto other routes to avoid inspection by the authorities.

During the inspection on the evening of October 20, the police also discovered a young man riding a motorbike without a helmet, so they signaled him to stop for inspection. However, the young man did not obey the order and accelerated to run away. Upon discovering the incident, the mobile patrol force pursued and brought the young man in for inspection. The inspection results showed that the young man did not violate the alcohol concentration limit, but at the time of inspection, he could not present any documents related to the vehicle. The police temporarily detained the vehicle for investigation and handling according to regulations.

Also on the night of October 20, the working group recorded a case of a citizen who did not comply with the request of the police force, did not present vehicle documents and left for another place.
Therefore, implementing mobile inspections, moving to many locations during one inspection session, has been effective, limiting the situation of violators "avoiding" the inspection points.
During each inspection, we deploy synchronous measures, decisively handle cases of alcohol concentration violations, contributing to reducing traffic accidents. In cases of intentional violations or non-cooperation, the inspection team will record video clips to serve as a basis for handling according to regulations.

After an inspection, the Working Group discovered and recorded more than 5 cases of alcohol concentration violations.

According to the plan from October 18, 2025, the Provincial Police will increase patrols, control and handle violations under the topic "Driving of road vehicles violating alcohol concentration". During this time, the Provincial Police force will coordinate with local police to directly control, detect and handle violations of alcohol concentration and hand over to local police for handling according to their authority. The working group will be fully equipped with books, forms according to regulations, along with means, equipment... to perform the task.

When detecting violations, local police must organize verification of whether they are cadres or party members or not, and send notices to the agencies and organizations where the cadres and party members work and live. In cases of non-compliance with alcohol concentration testing, if there are inappropriate behaviors and words, insults or offenses against cadres, reports must be submitted to superiors to direct the Police Investigation Agency to handle and resolve; if there are signs of crime, prosecution and handling must be initiated according to the provisions of law to serve as a deterrent.
