Tuyen Quang inaugurated a "mineral treatment" hospital worth over 200 billion

(PLVN) - My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital, with an investment of 208 billion VND for new construction, is the only medical facility in Tuyen Quang that treats bone and joint diseases, dermatology, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases using the "mineral therapy" method, treatment with natural minerals.

On the morning of April 19th, along with many other localities nationwide, Tuyen Quang province solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital in My Lam ward, Tuyen Quang city.

The mineral spring hospital project is one of 80 projects that were started and inaugurated on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the reunification of the country, and was broadcast live on national television and connected online to 79 locations in 34 localities.

The My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital is invested in by the Tuyen Quang Provincial Department of Health , with a total investment of 208 billion VND from the central government budget, local government budget, and other legal sources of capital. The mineral spring hospital project has a capacity of 200 beds, including main components such as wards and departments with 2-3 floors.

According to the project's investor representative, construction began in late 2022 and, after more than two years of work, the project is now essentially complete. The main components of the project have been finished, and the hospital's modern equipment has been invested in accordingly.

My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital is the only medical facility in Tuyen Quang province that treats diseases related to bones and joints, dermatology, respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and is recommended to use "mineral therapy" (treatment with natural minerals) over traditional methods. At the same time, many new treatment methods will be applied to achieve higher treatment effectiveness.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, affirmed that the inauguration of My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification has great significance. With modern equipment and a team of skilled doctors and nurses, the hospital will contribute to reducing the burden on higher-level hospitals, contributing to the overall achievements of the country in the effort to improve the quality of medical services, serving the health care of the people, and building a strong, prosperous, democratic, just, and civilized Vietnam.

Also on this occasion, after the ribbon-cutting ceremony for My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital, the delegates toured the treatment areas and presented gifts to patients receiving treatment at the hospital.
