Vietnam team practices in cold weather, ready to compete with China

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The weather was unfavorable during the Vietnamese national team's first training session in China. Nevertheless, the entire team showed determination and a very relaxed spirit ahead of the friendly match against the host team.

After settling into their accommodations at the Kempinski Hotel and taking some time to rest and recover, the Vietnamese national team held their first training session in Dalian, China, on the evening of October 8th.

At this time of year, the temperature in Dalian is lower than in Hanoi . In addition, the humidity is quite low, giving a chilly feeling.

The players warmed up thoroughly to get their bodies ready.

Although the Vietnamese national team assembled on October 3rd, their preparation time was actually very limited, as most of the key players could only join the team close to the departure date, after fulfilling their obligations with their respective clubs.

That is also why coach Philippe Troussier dedicated a significant portion of the training session to reinforcing the playing style he is building for the team, while also increasing coordination and cohesion between the different lines.

As the training session drew to a close, it suddenly started raining heavily, causing the temperature to drop and creating a chilly, numbing sensation.

Concerned that his players' health might be affected, coach Philippe Troussier was forced to blow the whistle to call the team back, reminding everyone to change into warm clothing and return to the hotel.

On October 9th, the Vietnamese national team held a training session to familiarize themselves with the stadium at the Dalian Sports Center, where their friendly match against the host nation's team will take place. Before the training session, coach Philippe Troussier and one player will attend the pre-match press conference.
