In this match, coach Tuan Kiet will continue to experiment with different lineups in preparation for the upcoming challenging matches. At the same time, athlete Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is likely to get some playing time to warm up after being sidelined in the opening match.
The Malaysian women's volleyball team also doesn't participate in many international tournaments. The head-to-head history also favors Vietnam, with Vietnam winning all previous encounters between the two teams.
