This is the result of the Vietnam Wildlife Photo Contest 2025, which attracted 739 works from 136 authors from 18 provinces and cities across the country. Birds are still the most photographed species (410 photos), followed by mammals (169 photos), reptiles, amphibians and macro insects.
Wonderful wildlife
Each wildlife work presented to the public this year is a special moment, a valuable slice of rich and vibrant wildlife. Most photographers with professional cameras and lenses painstakingly capture the fragile and magical beauty that can cause awe and wonder about the habitat of wild animals.

Phung Quang Hung, a construction engineer in Da Nang , has a photo in the group that won the highest prize in the photo contest of a mother and baby red-shanked douc langur on Son Tra peninsula (Da Nang) jumping among the yellow lim xet flower forest that usually blooms in April-May every year.
Engineer Quang Hung told Dong Nai Weekend: “I was very happy when I was lucky enough to take a photo of a douc langur with its unique brown legs. I think that to take photos of wild nature, you need to love and understand nature and be patient, then you will be blessed by heaven.”
Ly Nguyen Long (working in the electricity industry in Ho Chi Minh City), whose work was also in the group that won the highest prize in the contest, was a photo of a pair of water lilies using their sharp beaks to "kiss" each other in an extremely romantic way in the flooded area of Tam Nong (Dong Thap), said: "I have been taking photos since 2018 and only follow the wild nature genre because of my passion and I am always satisfied every time I get a satisfactory work after many days of "immersing" myself in hunting for photos. I think photography can bring good values to the wild natural environment in the rhythm of contemporary social life."
Raising awareness of nature conservation
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Bao, Co-Chair of the Organizing Committee of the photo contest and exhibition, expressed his satisfaction that Vietnam Wildlife 2025 reflects the profound diversity of Vietnam's nature, including iconic bird species and groups of animals that are less noticed but play an important role in the ecosystem.

Regarding technique, Mr. Truong Sinh commented that the works were very beautiful in color, light, and composition, creating a high visual impression, thereby attracting the public's interest, love, and awareness of preserving the surrounding nature.
Photographer Vo Quoc Thuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Nature Photography Club - VWPC, is pleased with the development of the domestic nature photography community and he mentioned the phrase "We save wildlife by taking photos" which highlights the passion and responsibility of those who hold the camera to preserve and protect the beauty of nature through their works.
