This match is no different from the "final" for both U17 Vietnam and U17 UAE as it determines the ticket to the quarter-finals of U17 Asia, as well as the ticket to attend the 2025 World Cup for both teams.

Before this match, U17 Vietnam surprised everyone with "earthquakes" against U17 Australia and U17 Japan.

U17 Vietnam twice let their opponents take the lead but in the end still managed to draw 1-1.

Two consecutive draws helped U17 Vietnam earn 2 points to take control of the competition for a ticket to the quarter-finals of the 2025 U17 Asia as well as a place to attend the 2025 U17 World Cup.

However, to complete the goal, Coach Cristiano Roland's team must win the "life and death" match with UAE.

This is considered not an easy task at all when U17 UAE is also in good form. After losing 1-4 to U17 Japan, they quickly found joy with a 2-0 victory over U17 Australia.

With 3 points in hand, U17 UAE has a huge advantage and they will certainly play with determination to achieve the best results.

Even U17 UAE can play focused defense because even a draw will still advance them if U17 Australia does not beat U17 Japan in the same match.

Obviously, the challenge for U17 Vietnam is huge, but with what has been shown, Coach Cristiano Roland and his team can be completely confident and determined to make history - winning a ticket to the U17 World Cup finals held in Qatar at the end of this year.

This was also confirmed by Coach Cristiano Roland and Captain Le Huy Viet Anh in a conversation with VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan.

Coach Roland and his players affirmed that the team is in a state of high concentration, continuing to be determined to demonstrate the "Vietnamese Spirit" on the field, overcoming the final challenge in the group stage to win the right to continue to the quarterfinals.

Encouraging the team before the important match, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan affirmed: "If the team plays with determination, follows the tactics and wins, it will not only be the first miracle of Vietnamese youth football participating in the U17 World Cup finals, but also open up a promising future for the players."

Previously, in a media interview, striker Tran Gia Bao - the hero with the penalty kick that scored in extra time against U17 Japan - also said that the whole team will fight with all their might to win.

"All 3 teams in the same group with U17 Vietnam are not easy opponents. But in the final match, when there is nothing left to lose, the whole team will fight with all their might to win," Tran Gia Bao shared./.
