U17 Uzbekistan wrote a miracle story when defeating host U17 Saudi Arabia 2-0, thereby winning the 2025 AFC U17 Championship in a spectacular way, despite having to play with two players missing from the end of the first half.

Under pressure from the audience, U17 Uzbekistan was at an even greater disadvantage when Nurbek Sarsenbaev and Miraziz Abdukarimov received red cards in the 41st and 45+2nd minutes, respectively, leaving the team with only 9 players on the field.
