Two prominent faces in coach Kim Sang Sik's squad, Nguyen Dinh Bac and Khuat Van Khang, are valued at 300,000 euros (more than 9 billion VND) by Transfermarkt.

According to experts, thanks to their extensive experience and many appearances on the national team, the two stars of U22 Vietnam are considered key players, expected to help the "Golden Dragons" achieve high results at the tournament in Thailand.
With the same valuation of 300,000 euros, at SEA Games 33 there is also Ivar Jenner, midfielder of U22 Indonesia, who is playing in the Netherlands for Jong Utrecht. The naturalized Indonesian player is a key factor in the midfield area.
Jenner’s presence is expected to strengthen the midfield, provide decisive passes and make a difference. In matches against Vietnam at the U22 or U23 level, Ivar Jenner is often tasked with distributing the ball. The midfielder’s ability to keep the ball and escape pressure causes many difficulties for the midfield of coach Kim Sang Sik’s team.
However, at SEA Games 33, the U22 Vietnam squad was highly appreciated thanks to the presence of 4 other players in the Top 10 most expensive players of the tournament: Nguyen Thai Son (250,000 euros), Tran Trung Kien, Nguyen Phi Hoang and Viktor Le (all 200,000 euros).
SEA Games 33 is considered an important milestone, marking expectations for a new energetic image and identity of Vietnamese youth football.
With careful preparation from the coaching staff and a high level of concentration, U22 Vietnam will enter the 33rd SEA Games journey with the expectation of achieving favorable results in the opening match against U22 Laos at 4:00 p.m. on December 3.
