Recently, the People's Committees of communes and wards in Viet Tri city have intensified propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage pensioners and recipients of social insurance benefits to receive social security payments in general, and pensions and social insurance benefits in particular, through cashless payment methods, thereby registering to receive their benefits via bank accounts.

Provincial Social Insurance officials guide residents of Tien Cat ward, Viet Tri city, through the procedures for receiving their pensions via bank accounts.
The results regarding monthly pension and social insurance benefit payments via bank accounts in Viet Tri City in September 2024 showed an increase compared to the end of August 2024. At the end of August 2024, 10,084 out of 29,452 beneficiaries in the city received payments via bank accounts, representing 34.24% of the total number of beneficiaries. At the end of September 2024, this figure had risen to 16,492 out of 29,452 beneficiaries, representing 56% of the total number of beneficiaries.
By the end of September 2024, some units had achieved relatively high results, such as: Hung Lo commune at 87.3%, Trung Vuong commune at 84.53%, Thanh Dinh commune at 83.64%, Tho Son ward at 78.49%, and Kim Duc commune at 75.72%. In addition, some units had implemented the program but achieved lower results, such as: Chu Hoa commune at 31.06%, Song Lo commune at 41.18%, and Duu Lau ward at 42.65%...
The above results show that the percentage of beneficiaries receiving payments via bank accounts in Viet Tri City is still low compared to the average percentage of beneficiaries in urban areas of the entire province as well as the whole country (Viet Tri City achieved 56%, the whole province achieved 58%, and the whole country achieved 74%).
To further develop the number of beneficiaries registered for payments via bank accounts and strive to approach the national average for urban areas, the Provincial Social Insurance Agency requests the People's Committee of Viet Tri City to direct the People's Committees of communes and wards to continue coordinating and strengthening propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage beneficiaries to register for social insurance benefits via bank accounts, especially in communes and wards with a large number of beneficiaries who have not yet received social insurance benefits via bank accounts or communes and wards with a low percentage of beneficiaries registered via bank accounts. This should be combined with reviewing, verifying, and adjusting information, and cleaning beneficiary data on the national population database to promote digital transformation in cashless social security payments, while contributing to accelerating the completion of digital transformation goals in the province.
