Vietnamese athletes quietly return home after 2024 Paris Olympics

On the morning of August 6th, the shooting, archery, and badminton teams returned to Vietnam after their participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

On the morning of August 6th, following their journey at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the athletes and coaching staff of the shooting, archery, and badminton teams landed at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi . The athletes and coaches quietly and quickly left the airport. Greeting them in the arrival hall were representatives from the Vietnam Shooting Federation, heads of departments from the Department of Physical Education and Sports, and the People's Police shooting team. There were no fans and only a few reporters at the airport to welcome the delegation. On August 5th and 6th, the first group of Vietnamese athletes returned from the Paris Olympics, including: Coach Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong and athlete Tran Thi Nhi Yen (athletics); Coach Nguyen Duy Khanh and martial artist Hoang Thi Tinh (judo); Coach Huynh Van Chanh and cyclist Nguyen Thi That (cycling); and swimmers Nguyen Huy Hoang and Vo Thi My Tien (swimming). At the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Vietnamese sports delegation will also compete in weightlifting with weightlifter Trinh Van Vinh (August 7-8) and canoeing with rower Nguyen Thi Huong (August 8).
