Van Toan says goodbye to Seoul E-Land, joins Nam Dinh Club

Van Toan left Seoul E-Land after one season. He moved to this team after ending his contract with HAGL Club.

Van Toan was trusted by coach Park Choong-kyun in the early stages. However, he gradually lost his position and was not registered to play in the last 3 months. Van Toan only played 9 matches, including 4 starts in Seoul E-Land. The former HAGL player did not score any goals in K-League 2.

Seoul E-land Club announced farewell to Van Toan.

Van Toan was called up by coach Philippe Troussier for the international friendly matches in June and September 2023. However, he came off the bench in the matches against Syria and Palestine. The 68-year-old coach also said that he did not call Van Toan due to his performance.

In the situation of not being able to play much in K-League 2, returning to V-League will help Van Toan have more playing time. This is necessary for the former HAGL striker when the Vietnam team is in the process of building its force under coach Philippe Troussier. Van Toan must play to score points in the eyes of the French coach.

In early August 2023, information about Van Toan joining Nam Dinh Club appeared. The Nam team tried very hard to get the signature of the player from Hai Duong . He is a quality addition to Nam Dinh Club next season.
