Explaining the new Resolution on the Strategy for Sustainable Development of Vietnam's Marine Economy to 2030, with a vision to 2045, to gradually turn our country into a strong maritime nation, rich from the sea, relying on the sea and heading towards the sea, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that in the coming time, VIMC should overcome all difficulties, innovate digital transformation, management and operations; focus on expanding deep-water seaports, especially transit port projects; invest in a fleet of ships; promote maritime services to reduce logistics costs; modernize corporate governance models; improve logistics human resources, participate in the global supply chain to become a large maritime corporation in the country, the region and the world.
Affirming that the Second Class Labor Medal awarded by the President is a great honor, encouragement and motivation for all officers and employees of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Mr. Le Anh Son, Chairman of the Board of Members of VIMC said that in the next period, the Corporation will focus on excellently completing the key tasks assigned by the Party and the State, actively contributing to the goal of developing Vietnam's marine economy.
