VIMC receives Second Class Labor Medal, marking three decades of development and contribution to Vietnam's maritime industry

On May 10, at the National Convention Center, Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) solemnly celebrated its 30th anniversary and received the Second Class Labor Medal, marking three decades of establishment, development and great contributions to the Vietnamese maritime industry.

The event was attended by senior leaders of the Party and Government, representatives of ministries, branches, international organizations, business partners and officers and employees of VIMC.

Congratulating and praising VIMC's outstanding efforts and achievements over the past 30 years, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc emphasized that the Second-class Labor Medal is a worthy recognition by the Party and State for VIMC's important contributions in the fields of maritime and logistics.

VIMC was established in 1995 under Decision No. 250/TTg of the Prime Minister with the mission of being a core and key enterprise of the Vietnamese maritime industry.

After 30 years of establishment and development, VIMC is one of the leading enterprises in expanding cooperation, international integration, providing maritime services globally, making important contributions to the development of Vietnam's marine economy. VIMC switched to operating as a joint stock company from August 18, 2020.
