Speaking at the ceremony, reviewing the heroic and glorious history imbued with the affection between the two neighboring countries, Ambassador Ha Vi hoped that the students, "from a young age, can feel the friendship between the people of the two countries for each other, feel that the hearts of the people of the two countries are always closely connected."

The Ambassador also expressed his joy at seeing that, after decades of efforts, the substantive cooperation between the two countries has become increasingly close, with many Chinese enterprises investing and doing business in the S-shaped country, bringing practical benefits to local people.

Accordingly, trade turnover between Vietnam and China is currently very high, reaching 260 billion USD by 2024.

In particular, Ambassador Ha Vi hopes that when the high-speed railway connecting Vietnam and China is completed in the future, the scale of trade between the two countries will continue to skyrocket.

"In the future, it will be more convenient for you to travel , study, work or live in China," he emphasized.

Referring to two verses of poet Li Bai: “With great ambition and strong will, one will be like an eagle spreading its wings for thousands of miles”, the diplomat told the students: “I hope that you will take the honor of receiving the Ambassador's Scholarship this time as an opportunity to study well, grow up healthy, spread your wings high, and strive to study to become builders of Vietnam's socialist cause and successors of the China-Vietnam friendship cause”.

She expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Ha Vi and the staff of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam for always accompanying the Union in many people-to-people exchange programs, educational cooperation and cultural activities.

In particular, the Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations believes that students will effectively use this scholarship source, nurture their dreams, persevere in learning, improve their knowledge and skills, enhance their international integration capacity; and become excellent citizens in the future.

The ceremony took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere with sincere moments of exchange between Embassy representatives, teachers, parents and students.

The event is even more meaningful as 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China relations and the year of Vietnam-China cultural exchange.

The scholarships awarded not only provide material support but also serve as a source of encouragement and motivation for students to make more efforts in their learning and training journey.
