Vinamilk made an impressive appearance at Thaifex - Asia's leading international F&B fair

Asia's leading F&B fair, Thaifex Anuga Asia 2025, took place from May 27 to May 31, attracting more than 90,000 visitors and over 3,000 businesses from around the world. Vietnam had 170 participating businesses, notably Vinamilk, the most highly valued Vietnamese food brand in Southeast Asia, which has been attending this international fair for nearly 20 years.

Vietnamese brands are increasingly enhancing their position in the region.

Thaifex Anuga Asia 2025 is a renowned food industry trade fair, not only in Southeast Asia but also internationally, attracting over 90,000 trade visitors from more than 130 countries and bringing together leading F&B businesses from the Asia- Pacific region, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Thaifex Asia 2025 is Asia's leading F&B trade fair, which Vinamilk has participated in for nearly 20 years.

This year, Thaifex attracted over 3,100 companies from more than 50 countries and territories, along with over 2,000 leading buyers worldwide . Vietnam had a record participation with over 170 businesses from various sectors such as seafood, beverages, processed foods, fruits and agricultural products, coffee, rice, cashews, etc. Notably, major companies like Vinamilk stood out, known as the most valuable food brand in the ASEAN region (according to Brand Finance, 2023) and ranked 6th globally in the dairy industry in terms of brand value.

Notably, although compared to other famous Vietnamese agricultural products, milk is not a strong product of Vietnam in particular and Southeast Asian countries in general, the appearance of Vinamilk still attracts a lot of attention from customers and major partners.

Vinamilk's booth made a striking impression at ThaiFex 2025 and attracted the attention of many visitors.

Sharing more about Vinamilk's participation in trade promotion at this fair, Mr. Vo Trung Hieu, International Business Director, said: “Thaiflex is one of the international trade fairs that Vinamilk has participated in since the early stages of exporting. Initially, Vinamilk came here to promote its brand, find partners from Asian regions and some potential markets. At that time, most customers were interested in tropical agricultural products from Southeast Asia, while dairy products were not as well-regarded as they are now. Thanks to persistent brand building and partnerships, Vinamilk is now a familiar name at the event, and Thaiflex is one of the key activities that we have seen effective in developing our export market over the years.”

Vinamilk meets and works with many partners from countries in Asia and Europe-America.

According to Mr. Jeffrey Chung (CEO of Vinamilk's business partner in Asia): "Our company has been importing and distributing a diverse range of Vinamilk products in Taiwan for nearly 10 years. We learned about and were impressed by Vinamilk through ThaiFex many years ago, and since then we have researched and established a long-term partnership with the company. Vinamilk meets our requirements very well in terms of product quality, achieving high international standards and effectively understanding the needs and tastes of the distribution market; our service and pricing are also excellent. In the future, besides fresh milk and condensed milk products, we are also interested in Vinamilk's new products."

Besides promoting trade, with its large scale and increasingly important role, Thaifex also serves as a platform to showcase technologies, processing solutions, raw materials, etc., for the food and beverage industry. It is known that Vinamilk recently participated in Thaifex to explore suppliers from developed countries in the dairy industry to support its R&D and production needs.

Exporting: More than just business, it's about branding.

Vinamilk has invested heavily in export promotion in recent years, not only contributing positively to the company's revenue but also building its brand in the international market. This has helped promote Vietnamese food and dairy products to the world, with Vinamilk becoming a recognized brand representing Vietnam and holding the title of National Brand for 16 consecutive years.

Affirming its position as a leading dairy producer, Vinamilk has launched many new products, with groundbreaking advancements in technology and applied nutritional science, achieving rigorous certifications and prestigious international standards such as surpassing over 400 safety and transparency criteria of the Clean Label Project (USA) and 200 criteria of Monde Selection (Belgium). Notable products include Green Farm pasteurized fresh milk, 9-nut milk, high-protein nut milk, 9-nut yogurt, coconut water, etc. In addition, the company continues to have products that have achieved National Brand status, such as Ong Tho condensed milk, Southern Star condensed milk, Probi condensed milk, etc.

In particular, I am impressed to learn that you have advanced production technology and many prestigious and rigorous quality certifications from international organizations.”

Green Farm pasteurized fresh milk and 9-nut milk are among Vinamilk's new products that customers enjoy tasting, with their fresh and mild flavors.

An interview with Mr. Tran Phu Lu - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) regarding VNM's booth at the trade fair: "The presence of large, leading enterprises at international trade promotion fairs both affirms the position and national brand of Vietnam, and creates motivation, connections, and promotes small and medium-sized enterprises."

In the first quarter of 2025, net export revenue reached VND 1,620 billion, a strong growth of 24.9% compared to the same period last year. This contributed to Vinamilk's total revenue from foreign markets accounting for over 20% for the first time (23%). This also marks the seventh consecutive quarter of positive export revenue growth for Vinamilk, amidst numerous challenges in international business. Notably, at the beginning of 2025, Vinamilk added two new export markets, bringing the total number of cumulative export markets to 65, further expanding the reach of this billion-dollar Vietnamese brand and affirming its quality in the global dairy market.
