VinFast announces cost of replacing and repairing electric car batteries, highest is 528 million VND

The price of high-voltage batteries for VinFast electric vehicles starts from 75 million VND and the higher the car model, the more expensive it is, but vehicle owners can also repair and replace individual items at a cost of 8.5 million VND.

After announcing the price of the VF 5 battery, the Vietnamese car company continues to list the high-voltage battery costs of the remaining car models, including the newly launched VF 3 line. Details of battery prices of VinFast car models are as shown in the table below.

Thus, VF 3 is the VinFast model with the lowest battery price - 75 million VND. Meanwhile, the company sells this product for 240 million VND when renting the battery and 322 million VND if buying with the battery, a difference of 82 million VND. Some car models such as VF e34, VF 7, VF 8 or VF 9 have more than one supplier option, which can be SDI, CALT, Gotion or VinES, so their prices can also be different. The above price list also shows that VinFast has self-supplied batteries for some of its electric car models, through the VinES brand (VinES Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company). Accordingly, the VF 6 or VF 7 models will use batteries produced by VinFast's member companies.
