Vinh Long: Coordinating the transfer of science and technology applications to serve socio-economic development

On the afternoon of December 4, the Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology in the South coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology of Vinh Long to organize a workshop with the theme "Coordination between the Ministry in charge of the National Science and Technology Program and localities in transferring and applying research results to serve the socio-economic development of the southern region".

The workshop listened to many presentations from experts and scientists on the Strategic Technology Program, policies and guidelines for science and technology development; the role of schools in the 3-party coordination model (State-Scientists-Enterprises); the green role in industrial development and modernization in Vinh Long and the southern region; the operating model of the Innovation Center; the local innovation index...

In addition, delegates actively focused on discussing, exchanging, and proposing scientific and technological models and solutions. Thereby, helping localities in the region to enhance the application of science and technology, promote innovation, digital transformation, improve management capacity, technological infrastructure, high-quality human resources, and better serve the socio-economic development goals in the new period.

The workshop is a forum to assess the current state of coordination between ministries and localities, and identify difficulties in the implementation of science and technology programs in the southern region.
