To achieve this certification, treatment centers must meet 32 ​​rigorous criteria, including professional standards, ability to monitor disease progression, disease control, use of differential diagnosis algorithms, identification of comorbidities and underlying causes of the disease, etc.

In addition, the center needs to meet hospital quality management requirements and the ability to coordinate with other specialties in treating comorbidities; the capacity for accurate differential diagnosis and the performance of extensive diagnostic tests.
