VNDIRECT officially reopens the trading system

On the morning of April 1, 2024, VNDIRECT Securities JSC (HoSE: VND) was officially reconnected to the trading system with the Stock Exchanges (HoSE and HNX) after a period of fixing the attack incident.

After a week of troubleshooting, VNDIRECT has completed the recovery and reconnection phase, officially moving to the recovery phase (phase 2) in the 4-phase roadmap. The securities company will continue to carefully review to reopen all system features and services, according to the roadmap notified to customers.

On the first day of reopening trading, customers can access their accounts, perform basic transactions, warrant transactions, and derivative transactions (via DStock and VNDIRECT applications).

VNDIRECT continues to review and upgrade to reopen all products and services, ensuring maximum benefits and safety for customers. Previously, the company also announced a gratitude policy for all VNDIRECT customers during this crisis .

Accordingly, VNDIRECT will waive securities transaction fees in April. During the incident, VNDIRECT will waive all margin interest and overdraft interest on overnight derivative position management during the incident. At the same time, customers with outstanding margin loans in April will be subject to an interest rate of 9.3% per year.

For bonds, VNDIRECT offers 0.7% interest rate for all terms for customers who have transactions of DBond products for corporate bonds and 0.3% for financial institution bonds.

"The policies under the April customer appreciation program mentioned above will take effect when the products and services are traded again. The policies for May and June will be updated to customers as soon as possible," VNDirect's announcement said.

These policies were introduced to support customers, after a week of "standing out of the market" when VNDIRECT 's system was attacked .
