VPUB - Closing Ceremony of the 2025 National Mixed Badminton Championship for the DABATA Cup

Dienbien.gov.vn - After 6 days (April 21 - 26) of exciting and dramatic competition, with the spirit of solidarity and the highest determination of the athletes, the 2025 National Mixed Men's and Women's Badminton Championship for the DABATA Cup was officially closed at the Dien Bien Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang presented Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the Tournament.

At the end of the tournament, in group A, the Organizing Committee awarded the Gold medal to the Bac Giang team, the Silver medal to the Hanoi team, and the Bronze medals were shared by the Ho Chi Minh City team and the Dong Nai team. In group B, the Organizing Committee awarded the Gold medal to the Lam Dong team, the Silver medal to the Bac Ninh team, and the two Bronze medals were Dien Bien and Da Nang. Thus, in the first time participating, the Dien Bien team won the Bronze medal in group B. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the tournament.

The 2025 National Mixed Badminton Championship is the first time Dien Bien province has hosted the tournament. The tournament has 10 delegations with over 100 officials, coaches, and athletes competing in two groups A and B. With careful preparation, ensuring safety, practicality, and efficiency, the tournament brings together most of the best badminton athletes in the country and provinces and cities across the country; this is also an important tournament, carefully prepared for the delegations to select and prepare their forces to participate in the 10th National Sports Festival in 2026.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, all competitions took place according to the plan, with very high professional quality, the results achieved accurately reflected the athletes' abilities. To achieve these successes, in addition to the efforts of the athletes, there was always the attention, direction, and encouragement of the provincial leaders, the support and assistance of departments, branches, organizations, armed forces of the province, and the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu city. The high level of coordination and unity of the members of the Organizing Committee in directing and organizing the implementation of tasks. The referee department closely followed the plan and regulations, worked seriously, responsibly, impartially, objectively, and in accordance with the law. The work of ensuring security and order, and taking care of the health of the athletes was carried out thoughtfully and promptly, along with the enthusiastic cheers of the audience, creating the overall success of the tournament.
