Vu Quoc Viet believes that patriotism originates from within each person, not only loving the country but also being proud of the homeland, the place that gives us life. When asked if composing songs about the homeland and country is difficult, musician Vu Quoc Viet shared: "No genre is easy. Only when there are enough emotions and ideas will good lyrics and melodies come out."

Vu Quoc Viet is the author of many hit songs, many people think he has a rich life because "just one hit is enough to make a living for life". However, the male musician said "that's just a rumor".

"Every job has its own concerns and difficulties. Musicians now have a better income every quarter because the Music Copyright Center protects copyrights," the male singer told Dan Tri reporter.

Sharing about his current life, he said he is fine and still works in parallel as a singer and musician like the first days he entered the art world.

The song When the Fatherland Needs carries the aspiration to live fully for the love of the country and the Vietnamese people, performed through the warm voices of Vu Quoc Viet and members of the V Music group.

The first part of the song is lyrical, painting a beautiful picture of the homeland, the latter part turns into a march bringing strong and majestic emotions as an urging to patriotic souls.

Sharing about this song, musician Vu Quoc Viet confided that he hopes the song will inspire everyone to rise up and wholeheartedly contribute to their homeland.
