Cuc Phuong National Park was once again honored by the World Tourism Awards (WTA) as the "Leading National Park in Asia 2024" on the evening of September 3rd in Manila, Philippines.

The 31st World Travel Awards ceremony for the Asia and Oceania region took place on the evening of September 3rd in Manila, Philippines.
According to the Cuc Phuong National Park Management Board, the national park in Ninh Binh has surpassed many other strong competitors worldwide to be honored, such as Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park of Japan, Chitwan National Park of Nepal, Minnieriya National Park of Sri Lanka, Kinabalu and Taman Negara National Parks of Malaysia, and Cat Tien National Park of Vietnam.
This is the sixth consecutive time (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024) that Cuc Phuong National Park has been honored as Asia's Leading National Park.
As Vietnam's first national park, Cuc Phuong National Park is currently considered one of the state-owned public service units that has been effectively utilizing government investment resources and support from domestic and international organizations.
Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh, director of Cuc Phuong National Park, said that the WTA's recognition is a great honor and source of pride for Vietnam's forests and ecotourism.
The award is not only a great source of encouragement and appreciation from the domestic and international communities for the persistent efforts of many generations of staff at Cuc Phuong National Park over the past 60 years.
It also acknowledges the sacrifices and contributions of the local community, experts, scientists, and millions of visitors.

Also at the 31st World Tourism Awards ceremony for the Asia and Oceania region, many destinations, business brands, and local tourism management agencies of Vietnam were honored.
For example, Ha Giang was honored in the category of "Leading Regional Cultural Destination in Asia 2024".
On the local level, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province was named in the category of "Leading Local Tourism Management Agency in Asia 2024," being the only representative from Vietnam to be nominated.
And many other awards.
