
At the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of O Dien commune Nguyen Thi Bay said that, implementing the Party and State's policy on sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security, in the past 5 years (2020-2025), O Dien commune has mobilized more than 4 billion VND to take care of poor households, near-poor households and people in difficult circumstances; supporting medical examination and treatment, giving gifts to poor students, people facing risks and natural disasters.
People, organizations and businesses in the area have contributed funds, materials, and labor to build and repair 23 houses with a total value of more than 900 million VND.

Currently, O Dien commune still has 136 near-poor households, of which 36 households need housing support. To continue to implement the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and ensure social security, the commune mobilizes the "For the Poor" Fund. On behalf of the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of O Dien commune Nguyen Thi Bay called on all levels, sectors, cadres, party members, union members, association members, businesses and people of all walks of life to continue to respond to the movement in the spirit of "Joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind".

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of O Dien Commune, Nguyen Thi Bay, also requested socio- political organizations and the Front Working Committees of villages and residential areas to continue to promote propaganda, review, and grasp the circumstances of poor and near-poor households to have timely support measures. The management and use of the "For the Poor" Fund must ensure publicity, transparency, and proper targeting, bringing resources directly to those in need.

At the launching ceremony, organizations, businesses, and individuals joined hands to support the Fund for the Poor and Social Security in 2025 in O Dien commune with 1.15 billion VND.
Also on this occasion, responding to the call of the central government and the city, during the storms in September and October, the Commune Fatherland Front Committee mobilized and received more than 700 million VND to support people in the provinces affected by natural disasters.
