Clearly define the roadmap to continue developing the National Legal Portal

According to the report of the Department of Information Technology, since November 7, the Department has coordinated with accompanying enterprises to complete and package technological and technical solutions to meet the initial requirements of the National Law Portal. Organize the handover of accounts and instructions on updating and posting information to the Department of Legal Dissemination, Education and Legal Aid, Vietnam Law Newspaper to update content on the National Law Portal according to the Temporary Regulations.
Regarding the organization and maintenance of information updates, in coordination with the Vietnam Law Newspaper, C06 ( Ministry of Public Security ) promptly updates outstanding information to post on the VNeID System. As of December 2, the National Law Portal had 93,0001 visitors, 701 people logged in to VNeID to create accounts on the Portal and 17,135 questions were answered by AI Law, with an average of more than 3,700 visits to the National Law Portal per day.
The National Law Portal is determined not only to be an information channel serving the media (news, events, etc.) but also to be a place to integrate information and legal services, a tool for state management, contributing to innovation and improving the effectiveness of law-making and enforcement towards building a transparent, accessible and friendly legal system for all subjects in society.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh acknowledged the efforts of the units in completing and upgrading the National Legal Portal.
Emphasizing the goal of the National Law Portal as a modern, user-friendly legal information system that integrates many functions to serve people and businesses, the Deputy Minister requested the Department of Information Technology to clarify the implementation roadmap and specific tasks in the coming time to build the Portal in accordance with the set goals.
Pointing out the issues that need to be further improved in the coming time, the Deputy Minister requested that a number of solutions be implemented immediately. First of all, it is necessary to speed up the progress of technology; clarify the relationship between the National Law Portal and ministries, branches and localities as a national technology platform.
The Department of Information Technology needs to clearly define the importance of the National Law Portal to have strategic proposals such as system administration issues, updating legal databases associated with digital transformation in the judicial field...
Advise on the development of a plan to submit a draft Regulation on the management, operation and exploitation of the Portal for the Ministry to submit to the Prime Minister ; advise on the completion of the Portal Executive Board; research on the development of regulations and coordination mechanisms between the Portal and key media agencies; ensure necessary resources for the Portal's activities; promptly assess and adjust issues arising during the implementation process.
