RON95 gasoline price increased, nearly 20,000 VND/liter

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just officially announced the management of gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, October 16.

At the executive session this afternoon, October 16, the inter-ministerial   Industry and Trade - Finance adjusts prices for gasoline and oil products.

Specifically, E5 RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 19,226/liter (an increase of VND 88/liter compared to the current base price), VND 677/liter lower than RON95-III gasoline;

RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND19,903/liter (an increase of VND174/liter compared to the current base price).

Diesel 0.05S is not higher than VND 18,423/liter (down VND 181/liter compared to the current base price).

Kerosene is not higher than VND 18,406/liter (down VND 28/liter compared to the current base price).

Mazut 180CST 3.5S oil is not higher than VND 14,371/kg (down VND 437/kg compared to the current base price).

In this operating period, the authorities did not make any provisions or use the price stabilization fund. gasoline prices Oil for E5 RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, kerosene, fuel oil.

Price adjustments are determined by key petroleum traders and petroleum distributors, but no earlier than 3:00 p.m. on October 16.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade also said it will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of the responsibility of ensuring the supply of gasoline and oil to the market by traders. petroleum business, and will strictly handle violations (if any).

According to the regulator, the world oil market in this regulatory period is affected by key factors such as: OPEC+ announced an increase in oil production in November but the increase was lower than expected; global oil demand tends to weaken; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine continues to increase attacks on Russian energy facilities...

The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days depending on the product.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world before the adjustment period on October 16 was: 76.294 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (up 0.156 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.20%); 79.062 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.740 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.94%).

For specific oil products as follows: 85.944 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 0.354 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.41%); 86.462 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 1.198 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.37%); 377.872 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 14.824 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 3.77%).
